Location | Gates Tennis Center and participating sites across the Denver metro area

Limit | 224 junior participants

Deadline | Monday, Midday August 25, 2024 OR when we reach 224participants

Scoring Format | 3rd set tiebreaker throughout

UTR Junior (18 & Under ) Division Information

 

Boys Divisions (Singles)

​

Boys Open | UTR 1-2.49 | UTR 2.4-3.99 | UTR 4-5.49 | UTR 5.5-6.99


Girls Divisions (Singles)


Girls Open | UTR 1-2.49 | 2.5-3.49 | UTR 3.5-4.49 | UTR 4.5-6.0

Boys and Girls OPEN Divisions will be capped at 16 players (the highest 16 ratings)

​

All other divisions will either be 16 or 32 draws (no draw will exceed 32 players)

​

The CSO has the capacity to accommodate 224 juniors. 

​

Junior matches will be played over the weekends.

 

Boys UTR divisions 4+ will be played exclusively on Sundays.

Meet Tournament Director: Alex Dove

Alex is originally from Kent, England. He spent his junior years competing in several junior sports (tennis, 'football', cricket & rugby) but was always drawn to tennis.

Alex played college tennis at the University of Liverpool where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. Alex first started teaching tennis while at Liverpool, and upon graduation Alex moved to America and hasn't looked back since.

He learned his trade under Patrick Tauma (former coach of Naomi Osaka) as the Head Junior Professional of ISP Academy in Boca Raton, FL. He then spent 6 years in the Washington DC area at the Chevy Chase Club before moving to Colorado in 2020.

Alex's full-time position is the Director of Racquet Sports at Club Greenwood. Aside from work, Alex loves just about any English sport, traveling, skiing and spending time with his family on a hiking trail.
